Having great sex but still unsatisfied? You’re probably lacking intimacy – the feeling of being deeply connected to your partner. If you want your relationship to evolve in that direction, focus on what draws you closer together.

Here are five things to try:

1) Close your eyes when you kiss, not when you make love

2) Recognize the importance of touchClose your eyes when you kiss, not when you make love (©Alejandro da Silva Farias)

  3) Intimacy is in the details:

Build a deeper connection by noticing and celebrating all the little things that make your partner unique – the texture of his skin, the scent of her hair.

   4) Nothing is more important than this moment

   5) One for me, one for you: Everybody wants an orgasm but don’t keep score; it breaks the flow and your connection to each other. Focus on your shared experience instead. There will be plenty of satisfaction to go around.
